The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima is the first book in the Seven Realms Series
So this is my most recent read that was suggested to me by Bailey Ingram, so thank you Bailey! I really enjoyed it! Boys: this is one you will enjoy!! It's not girly!! yayy!! hahah!!
It's a little bit hard to follow at first, so you have to pay attention! But its about two separate main characters. Raisa (Briar Rose) the heir to the Queendom, and Han (Hansen McAlister, Hunts Alone) the ex-street lord. Everyone has multiple names.. crazy.. hahah!! So the story starts with Han and his friend Dancer (Fire Dancer) they are going on a hunting trip, and they run into some wizards. But wizards are not allowed to be in the Clans mountains, so Dancer and Han confront the wizards. From this encounter, Han gets an amulet.
Ever since Han gets this amulet, his life keep getting crazier and crazier.
Then there's Raisa who is about to come of age--16. She will soon be open for marriage, but she doesn't want to get married right away. Raisa doesn't want to marry some prince who has "a tiny brain". Anyways, the story continues, and soon Raisa and Han's paths cross. And suddenly everyone is in more danger than they realize.
So honestly, I don't think I described this book very well... but it is really good! Like I said above it is the first book in the series, so I am really wanting to read the next few books!

So like I said before, it does use a couple cuss words: the D word, and the H word.
Other than that it is really clean!
