City of Bones by Cassandra Clare.
I just finished City of Bones.. and I kinda have mixed feelings. The story-line is very entertaining, but there are sooo many cuss words. Which is why I will have to say goodbye. (Plus the cover is sketchy(; )
Summary from inside book cover:
"When 15 year old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York city, she hardly expects to witness a murder-- much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing -- not even a smear of blood -- to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?
This is Clary's first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It's also her first encounter with Jace, a Shadowhunter who looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within 24 hours Clary is pulled into Jace's world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know..."
To be honest, I didn't really get into the book until the 6th or 7th chapter. Then I was sucked in ;) but I was so disappointed because seriously it cussed sooo much. I don't recommend. Yes it's got an interesting story line, but it's really not worth it to read all the cussing. Not to mention it has some violence.
Rate: PG13/R
lots & lots of cussing
GOOD OR GOODBYE?
GOODBYE
NITTY GRITTY:
City of Bones did not use the F word, however it used just about every other word. The H, D, A, and B words.
I wouldn't read it, and if you do decide you would like to read it, I would recommend only 14/15 and up.
THANKS FOR READING!

Variant & Feedback
Variant & its sequel Feedback by Robison Wells.

My good friend Rylan recommended these books to me, and let me tell ya, they definitely captured my attention right away!! I could not put them down! I stayed up so late to read them... bahaha.. oops. BUT I'm so depressed. I am going to have to say goodbye to them, and I will tell you why after the summary.
Benson Fisher gets a scholarship to Maxfield academy and thinks that it's going to make his life so much better. After bouncing from foster home to foster home, Benson is so ready for a steady, nice school. But when he shows up to Maxfield Academy it isn't what he expects. There are cameras everywhere, a razor wire fence, and a brick wall surrounding the fancy building. He is trapped. But there are no adults. The school is run by student gangs... However, the adults have not completely left them alone, they have given them 4 rules. And breaking the rules, means death. But as Benson comes to find out, following the rules may also mean death. Escape is his only chance, but even that is impossible.
Okay so obviously this is a different, new idea & it sounds so awesome. And it is. But.. it uses alot of cuss words. The first book, Variant, only uses a hand full of cuss words, but Feedback, the second one, uses many more. It's really so frustrating. Also they both have a lot of violence. Especially the second one. I really want to recommend these two books to you, but I just cant. They are so good, but like I said, they do have cussing.

GOOD OR GOODBYE? GOODBYE ;((((
Ahh so stinkin sad because these are soo good! But if I were you, I would just not read them, because otherwise, you will get sucked in. They are too captivating ;) This is probably the hardest decision on this blog I have had to make. Hahah
NITTY GRITTY:
In Variant, it uses about 7 cuss words. The H, D, and S words.
The second one, Feedback probably has like 25.. it's a lot more, same words, just more.
Honestly there is a part in the second that I would just skip because it uses so many cuss words right in a row. Pg. 25-40. Just skip it. You can email me and I can tell you what happened during that part. (If you do end up reading the book that is!)
THANKS SO MUCH FOR READING!
