San Temple is a 14 year old boy that lives in the small town of Perdido Beach Cali. He doesn't fit in with the popular crowd, or with the geeks but is labeled as a hero. So when every adult and kid over the age of 15 vanishes in the bilk of and eye, his peers look to him for guidance. But dose Sam want to be the leader, and to govern his friend and neighbors? whale kid try to put their lives back together with out and adults they run in to many problems like hunger, no cellphones, no internet, bully's tacking over, animals mutating, kids developing strange powers, and to add to that and evil creature is getting stronger each day.
This series in a page tuner a great adventure book but has some kissing, alcohol use, and violence. this is not recommended to kids but is a great read for young adults. PG13 good
