The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell

The Wishing Spell by Chris Colfer
Okay, first of all, before I get started, can I just say how impressed I am with the author!?! Chris Colfer plays Kurt Hummel on Glee, and is numbered among the 100 most influential people in the world. And then he goes out and writes this book! And its a good, clean, teens books none-the-less. #impressed

Alex and Conner are about to be in for the adventure of a lifetime. After their father's recent death, the twins are constantly thinking about the fairy tales that their Father (and Grandmother) used to read to them. Little do they know, those Fairy Tales are actually real.When their Grandmother gives them the treasured Fairy Tale book, and the twins fall through the pages, they soon find themselves stuck in The Land of Stories. As they gather the ingredients for the Wishing Spell -- the only thing that will take them home again -- they encounter all sorts of dangerous characters, and even some kind ones. But will they be able to gather all of the ingredients of the Wishing Spell? Especially when the Evil Queen (Snow White's step-mother) is hot on their trail? Or will they be stuck in The Land of Stories forever?

Okay, so I know this book sounds really childish. But it's not. If you are into Fairy Tale stories, or just some fun fiction stories, The Land of Stories is the book for you! Maybe it's a little cheesy, but so worth it(;
