In a future US that has been divided into the Republic and the Colonies, two separate countries that are fighting one another constantly, there is a boy and a girl named June and Day. Day is the Republic's most wanted criminal, while June is their top fighter. June and Day only meet when June's brother is killed and Day is the one believed to do it. But they soon find out what really brought them together, and the lengths the Republic will go to to keep its secrets.
So, Legend by Marie Lu is awesome. It's really good, except that they use the capital "G" word (if ya know what I mean) a few times and its sad because a lot of good characters either die or turn evil. So it's kind of PG-13 but still pretty awesome and cool beans.
